In Handbjerg Marina you are not charged a monthly rent for your berth, as the berth is purchased in Handbjerg Marina A/S B-Shares.
To get the right to a berth there are different options:
In addition, you pay an annual share of the common costs, also called operating fee, which includes; General operation, water and electricity on the bridges, use of environmental station, personal access code for toilet and bathroom, as well as Sailors' Lounge and Free Harbor sticker.

When the electricity use reaches a substantial amount, an electricity meter will be installed in order to keep track of the consumption.
When you buy shares in Handbjerg Marina A/S, you buy the right for a berth in the above categories.
The right to a seat in Handbjerg Marina can be sold by selling the shares in Handbjerg Marina A/S. The only condition is that Handbjerg Marina A/S is informed. Handbjerg Marina A/S will then, after approval by the Board of Directors, issue a new share certificate to any new shareholder.
The share certificate shows how many votes you are entitled to at the annual general meeting.
An overdue payment of the annual operating fee, the right to vote will be revoked.

Prices include: Free harbor sticker, water and electricity on the bridges, use of environmental station, personal access code for toilet and bathroom, and sailing room.
Renting berths at Handbjerg Marina, normally will be at Pier A. If the berth is rented on one of the other bridges, the tenant must agree to be assigned another berth, if the berth in question is sold during the rental period.
Summer season: The berths are rented for one season at a time, april 1st to october 31st.
From august 1st the rent is half price of the whole season price.
Winter season: November 16th- march 31st. If you in this period are mooring your boat at the marina, there will be an additional 50% of the full season rent.
Termination of a lease is december 31st, at the latest. If the marina does not receive your termination of the lease, your berth will be continiously booked and invoiced for the following year.
A leased berth can be purchased. The leasing amount that you already paid in a current season, will be deducted from the full price of the berth. Mind that operating fees are excepted in this price.
Before the boat is put into the water, a copy of the liability insurance must be handed over to the manager of the marina.
Rental of your own berth:
You have the opportunity to rent/borrow your own berth, but you must always inform the marina office of the name and contact details of the tenant/borrower.

Udlejning til skoler og institutioner afregnes efter aftale.
For kajak, SUP og cykler er der depositum på 500kr. på alt andet udstyr er depositum 100kr.
Pick-up and drop-off
You are personally responsible for picking up and delivering the equipment. All equipment must be delivered cleaned and in complete condition. If returned not addiquately cleaned, the cost is DKK 500. If the marina finds the equipment destroyed or even lost, you are responsible for paying the full price of the equipment.
Nature
The borrower must know the conditions of access in the places you want to go: on the road, on the fjord and in the forests.
Safety
For schools or institutions all kinds of water activities(sailing, kayaking etc) it is imperative that a complete safety instruction is filled out. Find the instruction at the søfartsstyrelsens hjemmeside
Liability
- It is you who will be accountable for all acitivities performed with the rental equipment.
- You will also be held accountable for the other persons involved in the activity: proper instruction, choice of the right area for the activity, weather considerations and other risk factors.
- Be aware the some activities can be very dangerous even lethal if the correct precautions are not made.
- The Gear Bank stress that whoever rent the equipment has the sufficient qualifications in question.
